EMECC postgrad work-in-progress group
Location: H4.50, off Grad Space, 4th floor extension, Humanities building, University of Warwick
The group is open to any with an interest in early modern/Renaissance/18thC history including PGs and UGs (those taking the relevant modules).
The plan to provide a congenial peer environment and the opportunity to present a succinct talk of 10-15 minutes about any recent aspect of your research, explaining, expanding and discussing. It could be, for example, introducing a source or linked sources, a piece of your own writing, or an explanation of your methodology for research. (We could do three in a session, perhaps?)
Prof. Mark Knightâs PhD students will be taking the lead initially. Hopefully, this will inspire contributions across the board.
For this session:
- Megan Zander: The Weaponization of Female Sexuality in Tudor England
- Ruth Barbour: 18th C Catholics in Warwickshire: Constructing an argument
