HRF Lunch 2025: Stratford-upon-Avon

Lunch at El Greco, July 11th 2025.

Thank you for signing up for our self-pay lunch -- we will be a party of at least 17 honorary research fellows and current staff. I can't wait to meet you (or see you again). If you don't know me, please do come and introduce yourself.

We are lunching at El Greco on Rother Street, where they have a space that will accommodate all of us. We have a booking for 12.30 pm on Friday 11th July and we will visit the Shakespeare's Roses exhibition at New Place after lunch.

The restaurant has asked that we pre-order our food because with a party of this size they will otherwise struggle to get all the food out at the same time. I am sorry about this because I always find it really difficult this far ahead to know what I'll feel like on the day, but I can see that it is probably inevitable when we are talking about this size of party. Please could you have a look at their menu and fill in the form below by Friday 4th July. Apologies again to those of you who have filled in multiple forms for me over the last couple of weeks but, without Jayne here to keep tabs on things, it's my only way of making sure things are properly organised. As most of you know, Jayne's off on medical leave, but she's recovering apace!
