Supper at The Encore

Thank you for signing up for our self-pay supper -- we will be a party of at least 27 alumni, current staff, students and invited guests. I can't wait to meet you (or see you again). If you don't know me, please do come and introduce yourself at the drinks and ask me to introduce you to people with whom you might have interests in common, or whom you particularly would like to meet.

We are dining at The Encore on Bridge Street, where they have a space that will accommodate all of us over three tables. We have a booking for 7.45 pm on Saturday 21st June and we can stay for as long as we like (within reason).

The restaurant has asked that we pre-order our food because with a party of this size they will otherwise struggle to get all the food out at the same time. I am sorry about this because I always find it really difficult this far ahead to know what I'll feel like on the day but I can see that it is probably inevitable when we are talking about this size of party. Please could you have a look at their menuLink opens in a new window and fill in the form below by Friday 13th June. It may help you to know that there will be canapés at the drinks party but nothing more substantial than that. And apologies to those of you who have filled in multiple forms for me over the last couple of weeks but, without Jayne here to keep tabs on things, it's my only way of making sure things are properly organised. As most of you know, Jayne's off on medical leave, but she's recovering apace, so she may be able to come to the drinks party for a short while -- at least that's her intention!
