Guarino e la scuola. Insegnare e imparare tra medioevo e umanesimo.Verona, 17-18 October 2024 To celebrate the 650thanniversary of Guarino Veronese's birth (1374–1460), the University of Verona organizes an international conference dedicated to his works and activity as a teacher: 17-18 October 2024. As part of the initiative, an exhibition of manuscripts, archival documents and ancient editions related to Gaurino and his works has been organised at the Biblioteca Civica of Verona, in cooperation with the LaMeDan lab. Visitors can download an audioguide through a QR code. After the end of the exhibition, its virtual version is available since December 2024 at this linkLink opens in a new window. As the 600thanniversary of Cristoforo Landino's birth (1425–1498) draws near, the University of Innsbruck organizes an international conference dedicated to his life and work: For Cristoforo Landino: Towards the Sixth Centenary of His Birth, 15-16 December 2023, Innsbruck, Palais Claudiana. The aim is to provide an overview of the studies conducted so far on Landino, as well as to present recent ongoing research on unpublished materials related to his activity, thus identifying new directions for future studies on this key figure of Italian Humanism.
