Renaissance PG Modules for External Students

2026-27

Please find below a list of modules that will run within the Centre for the Study of the Renaissance (subject to minimum numbers being met), that are available to students in other departments, subject to availability. If you wish to apply for one of these modules, please complete the form HERE.

Term 1

Renaissance Culture and Society (RS904-30) Tuesdays, 12:00-14:00, term 1 only, 30 CATS. (Room FAB2.33). Teaching timetable/syllabus HERE.

Renaissance Europe: Ecologies (RS900-30)


Term 2

Understanding and Promoting Cultural Heritage: the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (RS908-30), Thursday mornings at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon, classes weeks 1-5; independent research sessions weeks 7-10. Please note that this module is also available as a 15 CATS version (RS908-15).

Renaissance Venice: the City as Archive (RS910-30) 30 CATS available in term 2. This intense module is based in Venice for one week, during week 13 of term 2, which is during the Easter vacation period, (5-9 April 2027). Assessment activities will be in term 3 in Warwick. Please note that this module is also available as a 15 CATS version (RS910-15).
