New members of the Branch are always welcome. Membership is open to academics, postgraduate students and others working in the field of courtly literature. Members are entitled to attend and present papers at national and international meetings, vote at business meetings of the British Branch and the International Society, receive the Branch Newsletter and the ICLS Bibliographical Bulletin Encomia, and belong to the Branch e-mail discussion list.
If you wish to join the British Branch of the ICLS, please fill out and return the appropriate form. The membership for 2019-20 (starting from 1st June 2019) can be downloaded here: please fill it in and return it to Matthew Siôn Lampitt, the British Branch treasurer, along with your subscriptions. Matt's address is on the form.
May we encourage you to pay by standing order? If you do so already, there is no need to fill in the form. However, if your circumstances have changed (your address, job title or employment status), please do let us know. Please also let us know if you are leaving the ICLS.
The rates are as follows:
- Standard rate £25
- Overseas members £29
- Unemployed, student, retired £17
Members paying by standing order benefit from a reduction of £5 (thus Standard is £20, Overseas £24 and Reduced £12)
Remember to pay your subscription fees before or on 1st June.
Rates are the same as above
Note: It was agreed at the British Branch meeting at the Lisbon conference that from 2014 the due date for subscriptions will be 1st June.
