First year PhD student Ovanes Akopyan Wins Award
First year PhD student in the Centre for the Study of the Renaissance, Ovanes Akopyan, has been awarded a two-year grant to make an edition and translate into Russian, Marsilio Ficino’s treatise De religione christiana. He won the award from a private Russian institution called the Mardzhani Foundation. Ovanes will also translate another important, Medieval treatise for one of their publications, related to his astrological project, De radiis stellarum by Al-Kindi.
