Starting in October 2013, the newly structured MA in the Culture of the European Renaissance will include a Venice term!
The new programme will include spending term one in Venice, together with Warwick MA students from the departments of History and Art History. Students will take a core module and an option in term 1 which explore the history and the art history of the Italian Renaissance, with direct access to visual and textual material (museums, archives, libraries). In term 2 (Warwick-based), the core module will explore the way in which Renaissance culture developed in other disciplines (literature, philosophy, medicine etc.) and geographical contexts (France, England, Low Countries and Germany).
Full details of the course outline will be available on the renaissance Centre’s website during January; for more specific enquiries please contact the Director of Graduate Studies, Dr Lorenzo Pericolo on L.Pericolo@warwick.ac.uk
