Fellow of the Academy for Advanced Study in the Renaissance
Stephen Bates has been awarded a fellowship for the inaugural year (2012-13) of the Academy for Advanced Study in the Renaissance, generously financed by an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Distinguished Achievement Award. The fellowship will involve study at the American Academy in Rome, the Institute for Advanced Studies of L’Orientale University of Naples (on Procida) and the European University Institute in Florence.
The Centre welcomes new Researchers for 2012-13
A Marie Curie postdoc fellowship has formally been confirmed for the Centre and Italian, the candidate being Eva Del Soldato (Pisa) who has links to the Vernacular Aristotelianism project
The Centre was fortunate enough to secure 2, Global Research (IAS) fellowships so will be welcoming Dr Femke Molekamp and Dr Jacomien Prins in the autumn
Dr Alex Russell who received an Early Careers Leverhulme grant, will be starting in May 2013
