The MA in the Culture of the European Renaissance will appeal to students who have taken their undergraduate degrees in any of the following: English, History, History of Art, Modern or Classical languages (especially French, Italian, Latin or Spanish), Music, and Theatre Studies, or a combination of two or more of these. Applicants should normally have a first degree of at least 2:1 standard ('B' average in North America). If your first language is not English, you will be expected to obtain a score of at least 7.0 in an IELTS test; we also accept a number of other English language tests, for further information, please click here. No foreign language attainment is required for entry to the degree however, the Centre encourages its students to take advantage of Italian classes offered whilst in Venice and will cover the costs for one such module.
