The School for Cross-Faculty Studies' student-run magazine GLOBUS features an article by Dr Bryan Brazeau, titled 'Schools of Athens: Liberal Arts and Global Challenges'.

"As an educational discipline, Liberal Arts is all about critical and independent thinking – as its scholars therefore have very independent views, Liberal Arts has a different meaning for different individuals, be they scholars, teachers, or students. Three Warwick Liberal Arts students have been published in the September BLASTER Special Issue of 'Reinvention'.

This special issue of 'Reinvention' celebrates the research carried out by undergraduate students at universities involved in the BLASTER project. Each of the students is studying (or recently graduated from) a Liberal Arts and Sciences programme in the UK or Europe, and as such this special issue showcases the interdisciplinary work taking place in these institutions.

Our congratulations to our students, Najma Ahmad, Saskia Kaltenbrunner and Ceara Webster.

Translating Cultures of the Past is a collaborative and interdisciplinary project funded by the Monash Warwick Alliance, which brings together graduate students and staff from the University of Warwick and Monash University who have shared interests in working on medieval and renaissance culture. The project filmed an interview with Liberal Arts' Dr Gavin Schwartz-Leeper about interdisciplinary teaching, research collaboration and research-led teaching.
