Final Activity
Final activity
During the training, you will explore a range of techniques for conducting social impact assessments tailored to conservation policies, projects, and initiatives. We encourage you to apply this knowledge by developing a draft plan for how you would carry out a social impact assessment in your own area. While this task is not compulsory, we believe it will be a valuable opportunity to reflect on what you’ve learned and begin putting these concepts into practice in a real-world context.

Instructions
- Explain the project you are working on and why a social impact assessment is needed.
- You can choose any tool you wish for your project or a combination of tools.
- Justify the selection of your tool.
- Explain the research protocol (what indicators you will use, what sampling methods-if needed etc).
- Length: This is flexible but we would not expect to see something more that 2 x A4 pages.
- Format: You can do this in any format including presentations, document or a video.
- Deadline: September 2025 to allow you time to reflect on the information from the training and consider what would be the best option for you. Submit your draft plan at fidelio@warwick.ac.uk.
- Any questions please send them to fidelio@warwick.ac.uk. We will aim to reply within 7 working days.
