11.15-11.30 BREAK: refreshments available from the Courtyard Theatre cafe  
11.30 Prospero’s Screen: Interpreting The Tempest on Film Tony Howard, English and Comparative Literary Studies
12.30- 1.30 LUNCH BREAK There are a number of pubs and shops selling sandwiches within 5 minutes walk of the Courtyard  
1.30 Interpretive Choices: The Tempest Led by RSC Learning with members of the acting company and production team
3.15-3.30 BREAK: refreshments available from the Courtyard Theatre café  
3.30 Panel discussion with all participants Led by Paul Allen, CAPITAL Fellow in Creativity and Performance


Coaches will leave from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre at 4.30pm
This event is open to students taking courses EN301, EN228, EN337, and Theatre and Ideology: Exilic Perspectives, and attendance is a requirement of those courses. There is no charge. Buses will leave from outside Rootes Social Building at 9am.
