The DigitalFUTURES Spanish committee has recognised Calvillo’s fundamental contribution to the understanding of urban air, and how air quality profoundly
affects social, environmental, political and cultural dimensions through research and digital design projects that challenge traditional approaches through
innovative, interdisciplinary, participatory and accessible methodologies to promote public participation and environmental justice.
DigitalFUTURES international awards are given to an individual or group of scholars/practitioners/educators in recognition of their exceptional contributions
to the international field of digital design. The Spanish Award includes all Spanish-speaking countries.
