Academic Profile

I joined CIM as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow in Visualisation User Research in February 2020. Before that, I've worked as UX Researcher at Tecnopuc Crialab, the Laboratory of Creativity from PUCRS' Science and Technology Park (Brazil). There, I've conducted user-centred research focused on the creation/validation of digital/material products and services from Hewlett-Packard R&D Brazil (2017-2019).

I've also been a Lecturer at the UX Experience Post-Graduation Program (2018-2019) from UniRitter (Ritter dos Reis University Center), at the Design Faculty (2012-2014) from the same institution, and at the Multimedia Production Higher Education Program from National Service of Commercial Apprenticeship SENAC-RS (2012-2018). In these institutions, my teaching area was design methods, research methods, design principles, branding, user experience and experience design.

In parallel to my academic experience, I have worked conducting design projects for the industry (2008-2016), related to branding and visual communication (graphic, editorial, digital).

I hold a PhD degree (2019) and a MSc degree (2011) in Design & Technology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and a BA in Graphic Design at UniRitter (2009).
