Jo is Deputy Director & Head of Academic Projects and Administration in IATL (job sharing with Caroline Gibson). Jo manages IATL's portfolio of interdisciplinary modules and has many years of experience in teaching quality, academic policy, and curriculum development. She was selected to become a fellow of the Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) in 2017.

Jo has worked at the University since 2003 and was a Senior Assistant Registrar at Warwick Business School before leaving in 2012 to undertake a number of consultancy roles at universities including Birmingham, Leicester, Warwick, Essex and the Open University. Prior to 2003, Jo worked at UCE as a Quality Assurance Officer and at the University of Birmingham as a Project Manager. In a previous life, Jo was Head of Strings at Abbots Bromley School and worked as a string teacher in Oxfordshire. She has an undergraduate degree in Music from the University of Birmingham and a PGCE (in secondary music with peripatetic music) from the University of Leeds. In 2014, Jo graduated from Warwick Business School with an MBA.
