GLOBAL CONNECTIONS

'Environment Without Borders: Seeking Solutions for the Future’

26 January - 16 February 2026

Are you interested in exchanging perspectives on the future of the environment?

Come collaborate with us on a small, online cross-university project with students from universities throughout Europe on this important theme. The EUTOPIA Learning Community, ‘Global Connections’ will be hosting a learning opportunity for students interested in building working relationships across borders; engaging in intercultural discussions about environmental issues; and becoming part of a multidisciplinary research team. Together, you will critically explore perspectives on the future of the environment and the opportunities and challenges it presents, and investigate the extent to which this ‘translate’ across borders and academic disciplines. Based on your research, you will have three weeks to create a poster and record a pitch to advocate for the topic you will have selected as a team.

Participating students need to be available to attend two 1-hour online sessions: one on 26 January at 13:30 GMT / 14:30 CET and one on 16 February at 13:30 GMT / 14:30 CET, as well as be willing to dedicate some time in between those dates to work with their team on their project.

Please fill out THIS FORM by Thursday, 22. January 2026 to register. Any questions about this opportunity can be addressed to Dr Mélina Delmas (Melina.Delmas@warwick.ac.uk).

Looking forward to seeing you there!
