Reinventing Education: Across Time and Culture

Join us for a seminar with Professor Michael Puett of Harvard University, followed by a round table discussion.

Drawing on his experience and knowledge of cultures and disciplines, Professor Puett will explore the purpose of education across time and cultures, and what we can learn from history, today.

Professor Michael Puett

Professor Puett is the Walter C. Klein Professor of Chinese History and Anthropology at Harvard University.

Professor Puett’s interests are focused on the inter-relations between philosophy, anthropology, history, and religion, with the hope of bringing the study of China into larger historical and comparative frameworks. He is also Chair of Committee for the Study of Religions at Harvard.
