Early Career Teaching Fellow - ECTF

Early Career Teaching Fellows - a unique opportunity
In collaboration with the Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS), IATL annually offers TWO Early Career Teaching Fellowships. These are offered exclusively to Warwick Doctoral students who have or plan to submit their thesis in this academic year.
These unique fellowships allow the successful candidates not only to develop and disseminate their research, but also receive training in and experience of IATL's distinctive approach to Interdisciplinary Teaching. You will also benefit from a range of skills and career training from the IAS. Thus the IATL/IAS Early Career Teaching Fellowships offer you an unequalled opportunity to make the next step in your career.
For an illuminating podcast on how the Fellowships work and on their many benefits to Fellows, listen to our 2023/24 Fellows Dr Fraser Logan and Dr Adam Neal in conversation here.
You can also read Fraser's Reflective Blog here.
As Fraser begins:
"The Early Career Teaching Fellowship is a fantastic opportunity to gain interdisciplinary teaching experience. It’s an opportunity to develop your teaching philosophy. It’s an opportunity to learn what innovative teaching looks like and to take creative risks in your teaching."
Our current Fellows are Dr Yangzi Zhou and Dr Maddie Sinclair.
