About

Hi! I’m Hesper, a third-year Philosophy with Psychology student at the University of Warwick. As a joint-honor student, I have always been interested in bringing together knowledge from different disciplines.

At ICUR 2024, I participated as both a session chair and an audience member. It was a fun and incredible experience to engage with presenters and witness their passion and dedication to their research topics. I went on to conduct my own interdisciplinary research over the summer, focusing on refining a philosophical account of intentional action in light of psychological evidence.

My journey as an undergraduate researcher and learning from the research of my peers has been transformative, so I hope to support others in making the most out of these unique opportunities. As part of the ICUR 2025 student director team, my goal is to help foster a strong sense of community within ICUR, where curious minds can connect, collaborate, and inspire one another. As the editor of the Impact Blog, I hope to celebrate the connections and growth that ICUR inspires in everyone involved.
