Disseminating your research is a crucial part of the research journey and presenting at a conference is one of the options for getting your research out to a wider audience and adding to the body of knowledge in your subject area. Presenting at an undergraduate research conference is a great starting place for developing skills for research dissemination. Developing a conference presentation will help you to think critically about your research and to refine and reframe your results for new audiences. There are several opportunities available at Warwick and in the wider research landscape for presenting your research.

ICUR

The International Conference of Undergraduate Research was founded in 2012. ICUR is a leading international hybrid conference, in which audiences and presenters connect across five continents to disseminate and celebrate original undergraduate research.

(24) British Conference of Undergraduate Research: Overview | LinkedIn

Warwick has been involved in BCUR for many years. Find out more here: Warwick and BCUR 2025

BCUR

The British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) is the largest conference in the UK dedicated exclusively to undergraduate research. Previous conferences have seen over 500 delegates from 70 different institutions over the two days presenting their research work on a diverse range of topics.

Posters in Parliament

Posters in Parliament (PIP) is the annual sister event of the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR).

Participating BCUR institutions select students to present their research and represent them at this event, including the University of Warwick.

Posters in Parliament (PIP) 2026 will take place in Portcullis House, House of Commons, London on 25th February 2026.

Student researchers from Warwick and across the country will present their work to MP's, Peers, civil servants and policymakers, as well as academics and fellow students. This event is an amazing opportunity for our student researchers to discuss their work with people of influence.

Building on the success of the two previous World Congress on Undergraduate Research events, the 3rd World Congress on Undergraduate Research (WorldCUR) took place on campus at the University of Warwick on 3rd - 6th April 2023 in a joint event with BCUR 2023.

WorldCUR

The World Congress on Undergraduate Research (WorldCUR) brings together the world's best undergraduate researchers to focus on some of the most significant challenges facing the global community. Students across the world are invited to travel to this event, hosted by a new institution every 3-4 years, to share their research, discuss global issues, and create or strengthen international research partnerships.
