How to get to the House of Commons (Portcullis House and College Green entrance)
Bus: 3, 11, 12, 24, 53, 87, 88, 148, 159, 211, 453
Tube: Westminster (Circle, District and Jubilee Lines)
National Rail: Waterloo, Charing Cross, Victoria, Vauxhall (all approx. 15-30 minutes walk)
Coach: Drop off only by Victoria Tower Gardens (for coach parking information, please visit www.westminster.gov.uk/coach-parkingLink opens in a new window
Key information:
- You must bring a digital or printed copy of your invitation to Posters in Parliament and any tour/workshop with you in order to access the event. Photo ID is also advised but the invitation is vital. The invitation will be emailed by 18 February 2026.
- Please only pass the invitation to those who are named ticket holders. Tickets are not transferable as all names are given to the House of Commons in advance.
- Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs, as there are accessible entrances.
- Guests will need to allow 30 minutes to clear security before their tour/workshop and the poster exhibition.

Joining the Posters in Parliament exhibition |

The event takes place in Attlee Suite, Portcullis House, Victoria Embankment, London, SW1A 2LW. Please enter via the Portcullis House Visitors Entrance (marked No.5on the mapLink opens in a new window).The exhibition will take place in the Attlee Suite, Portcullis House between 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm. Student presenters are asked to attend from 1.15 pm to ensure they locate their poster ahead of the opening of the exhibition. Speeches and certificates will be awarded at 3:00 pm. |

Refreshments within Portcullis House |
Tea, coffee, water and light food refreshments will be available during the event. Please note that the café in Portcullis House is not open to visitors. There is a small room where you can buy snacks from a vending machine or consume food/drink you have brought with you. |

Photography and communications |
A professional photographer booked by the organisers, the University of Warwick, will be attending the event. Please advise the staff on the registration desk or the photographer, if you do not wish to be photographed. If students would like to be photographed next to their research posters, please ask the photographer. Your own photographs are only permitted within the Attlee Suite and only for personal and private use. |

Joining the Tour of UK Parliament |

This information is for anyone who has a place on the Democratic Access Tour of the UK ParliamentYour ticket will be emailed after 18th February 2026. Your emailed ticket must be presented to Parliamentary Security Officers upon request; you might also be asked to show photographic ID. Although every effort will be made, we cannot guarantee admission for late arrivals. |

Joining your tour |
Please enter via the Cromwell Green Visitors Entrance (marked No. 9 on the map) and make your way through into Westminster Hall where you will find the Tours Co-ordinator's desk.
At the end of your tour you will exit via Carriage Gates (marked no. 7).

Photography and mobile phones |
Photography is only permitted in Westminster Hall and St Stephen's Hall. Mobile phones may not be used within the Palace and should be switched off. |

Toilets (including disabled facilities) are located next to Westminster Hall and are available at the start and end of your tour. |

Shop |
Our Jubilee shop, located off Westminster Hall, offers a wide range of books, gifts and souvenirs. |

Food and Drink |
The Jubilee Cafe, located off Westminster Hall, offers a selection of light meals, and hot and cold drinks. Please check the website for opening hours. Eating and drinking is not permitted on the Visitor Route. |
