This form is for institutional contacts to use and submit the work of their selected students. Each institution is invited to submit a maximum of two posters and up to two presenters per poster.
No later than Monday 2nd February 2026, please provide the following details for each of your two submissions:
IMPORTANT:
The individual whose details are registered here will receive our institutional communications leading up to the Posters in Parliament event.
While attending Posters in Parliament is a great accolade for our students. We want to offer an additional element to recognise the additional achievement of communicating research. Therefore, we are offering institutions the opportunity to enter one of their two submissions to the competition.
The competition will focus on how the research has been communicated not the research itself. The entries will be judged on how the poster and 250-word research explanation are communicated, ensuring they are suitable for a lay reader, such as an MP and policymaker. All entries will be read by a shortlisting panel of BCUR members, and the shortlisted entries will be informed before the event.
During the event, the judges will visit each of the posters and discuss the research with each student researcher. The runner-up and winner of the competition will be announced at the end of the event. The judging panel will be small, or 3 or 4 people, including MPs and policy advisors.
Don't forget - If you are attending, please remember to fill in Posters in Parliament 2026 Attendee Registration and remind your student researchers as well. This must be completed before 11th February 2026.
The data on this form relates to your submission of two student posters for the purposes of Posters in Parliament (the event). The date and time of your submission, your identity, the identity of the student researchers and their work you have submitted will all be stored and used for the event. The names, contact information and content regarding poster submissions will not be used for any purpose other than for the purpose of organising and administering the event.
