The International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR)
The International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) is an annual two-day academic conference that showcases the best in undergraduate research from around the world.
Developed with the support of the Monash-Warwick Alliance and now led by Warwick, ICUR provides undergraduates with the opportunity to find their voice within the academic research community.
ICUR is student-centred and student-led, with a team of Student Directors. IATL provides guidance to Warwick students to enable them to prepare their abstracts and to engage in international research dialogue.
Warwick students are able to enjoy an intercultural experience without leaving the campus, while undergraduate researchers from across the world have a unique opportunity to present their research in real-time, video-linked sessions from their home campus.
Attendance at ICUR provides students with material for their CV, extensive feedback, valuable networking opportunities, and an introduction to research as a potential career.

IATL’s Reinvention journal is an online, peer-reviewed journal, dedicated to the publication of high-quality undergraduate student research. It has been publishing undergraduate research since 2007 and has structured resources to support students undertaking their first publishing endeavours.
The journal is co-created with students, who undertake the roles of Editor, Assistant Editor and Marketing Coordinator, giving opportunities to lead, shape and develop this important research publication with the support of IATL staff.
The journal welcomes academic articles from all disciplinary areas and all universities. All articles undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and refereeing by two or three anonymous referees. Reinvention is published bi-annually and only houses papers written by undergraduate students or papers written collaboratively by undergraduate students and academics.
Reinvention is published through IATL and supported by the Monash Warwick Alliance.

This joint celebration of undergraduate research brought together the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) and the World Congress on Undergraduate Research (WorldCUR) as an in-person event at the University of Warwick in April 2023.
The student members of the WorldCUR-BCUR team ensured that student voices were integral and that the event was for student researchers, by student researchers.
This was the first occasion on which a national conference of undergraduate research had been brought together with the World Congress in a joint event. The joint conferences welcomed over 600 delegates to our campus in Coventry, UK.
Visit our WorldCUR/BCUR pages to learn more about the joint conferences, view abstracts and poster presentations and much more.
