IATL Project Support Funding

IATL staff widely contribute to University Committees and Groups that look at our institutional education challenges, from inclusive practices to interdisciplinarity and assessment, and offers support to departments interested in reviewing and enhancing their practices leveraging our Project Support scheme. Project Support for Staff

IATL Early Career Teaching Fellowships

Several IATL teaching staff have been recognised with WATE awards and the Department encourages the pursuit of HEA recognition by all staff (including professional services staff), including Principal Fellow of the HEA. There is also a desire to support Early Career Teaching staff development as evidenced by the joint IATL-IAS Early Career Teaching Fellowships, which recognises the importance of early career teaching. IATL's Contribution to the Academic Discourse

IATL staff have been recognized with awards and HEA recognitions for their pedagogical expertise. In addition, IATL staff extensively contribute to the academic discourse via publications in peer reviewed and top educational journals, chapters in books and conference presentations. IATL fosters the growth of an education community comprised of teachers, students, third space practitioners and administrators where all stakeholders are encouraged to explore new pedagogic approaches and trial innovative practices, learning continuously and co-developing next steps.
