2025/2026
Summary
This project investigates to what extent generative AI influences undergraduate students’ research confidence, autonomy, and perceptions of equity across disciplines at Warwick. Using a cross-faculty survey of approximately 50 students, the study will examine patterns of AI use, psychological impacts on research identity, and perceived fairness in access and guidance. The project responds to rapid institutional changes surrounding AI in higher education and aims to generate actionable insights for inclusive and responsible AI support. Findings will be disseminated through ICUR, Reinvention, and a digital report to contribute to Warwick’s evolving research and teaching practices.
