WIHEA/IATL Interdisciplinary Staff Hub
The Interdisciplinary Staff Hub envisioned by the WIHEA Learning Circle and funded but IATL and WIHEA aims to provide a central platform for Warwick teaching staff and fellows to access guidance and support to incorporate interdisciplinarity within their pedagogy. It offers practical examples within case studies, opportunities to network and have discussions with colleagues, and provides resources for further developing interdisciplinarity at Warwick.

The Case Studies section is an essential part of the staff hub, designed to share practical examples of how interdisciplinarity has been integrated into teaching practices by other teaching staff at Warwick. This section showcases how these practices have been applied and what lessons can be learned from others to incorporate interdisciplinarity within one’s teaching. The case studies are intended to be a “brief conversation” about interdisciplinarity with the person featured in the case study, making them quick and easy to read.
This section is another crucial part of the staff hub, connecting those curious about interdisciplinarity with those already experienced in the field. The WIHEA Learning Circle considers networking opportunities important because the whole point of interdisciplinarity is that you link with people you don't usually work with. The section highlights individuals working in different areas of interdisciplinary teaching, providing opportunities to connect with peers from various disciplines.
This section provides a platform for staff members to ask questions, share experiences, and engage in discussions to promote and support interdisciplinary practices at Warwick collectively. Here, users can share opportunities such as funding options, upcoming educational conferences, workshops, and other relevant events. This section encourages sharing ideas, which may lead to collaborative opportunities and new interdisciplinary projects.
The Training and Support Section provides information on available support, including funding opportunities, upcoming workshops, training sessions, and conferences.
