Digital Health and Mental Wellbeing

Digital Health is a cross-cutting theme covering diverse areas such as ageing society, youth mental health, sleep patterns, behavioural regulation and suicide prevention.

At the Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing Research, our researchers explore topics such as developing, delivering and evaluating interventions, medical and societal ethical challenges by using digital and mobile technologies.

One such project run by and involving Centre members, is the NIHR GLobal HEalth Research Group on Psychosis Outcomes: The Warwick-India-Canada (WIC) Network. WIC brings together knowledge and expertise of four internationally recognised institutions with a single aim - to reduce the burden of psychotic disorders in India.

By exploiting the potential of digital and mobile technologies, WIC will increase access to services, provide interventions appropriate to the culture that will deliver better patient outcomes and provide high quality research evidence to policy makers.
