Our Research
The activities that make up the research programme have been organised into five separate, but inter-related, work packages.
Each work package has its own set of deliverables and milestones and specific leads:

In WP1 we will complete papid community-based ethnogrpahic assessments in study sites in Bangladesh and Nigeria.
WP1 is led by Prof Olayinka Omigbodun (University of Ibadan), and Professor Gillian Hundt (University of Warwick) and Dr Bulbul Siddiqi (North South University)

Building on the learnings from WP1, we will develop training packages and raise community awareness in WP2.
WP2 is led by Dr Jegede Obefami (University of Ibadan) and Dr Tanjir Soron (Telepsychiatry Research and Innovation Network Limited).

In WP3 we will piloting and implement the training interventions that are developed in WP2.

Our aim for WP4 is to determine whether our intervention leads to an increase in numbers of people with SMIs accessing biomedical care.

In WP5 we will conduct Health economic analysis and methodological development to understand the costs and benefits associated with our intervention.
