Prospective students who wish to apply for MGS DTP funding from Aston University should first apply to the University to study for a research degree by completing an online application for PhD admission.

Please note that all ESRC DTP students will be allocated 2 supervisors and their names will need to be included in the application for ESRC DTP funding.

ESRC DTP Pathways offered at Aston University

Area Studies

Structure of provision: +3, +3.5, 1+3 either Full-time or Part-time

Prospective students wishing to apply for funding under the Area Studies pathway should submit an application to the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and select ‘Research - Area Studies’ from the online application form. For full details of Area Studies at Aston, please click here.

Management & Business Studies and Finance

Structure of provision: +3, +3.5, 1+3 either Full-time or Part-time

Management & Business Studies
