Dr. Chien-Hui Liao joined the Tissue Image Analytics (TIA) Centre as the Senior Project Manager for PathLAKE in September 2020. Prior to joining Warwick, Dr. Liao held faculty positions in Finance at the University of Manchester (2002-2005), University of Birmingham (2005-2011), and Coventry University (2016-2018). She also worked as a research consultant for a funded research project at the Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar between 2013 and 2015. Dr. Liao is a recipient of the Overseas Research Students Awards Scheme (ORS), funded by Universities UK, for her PhD in Finance from Warwick Business School at the University of Warwick. She is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI). She also has industrial experience in financial services, being a RDR qualified financial adviser, a CISI-accredited paraplanner, and a PRINCE2® certified project manager (to practitioner level).
