Term 1 Week 5

Learning objectives week 5:

  • understand levels of measurement (nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio).
  • understand the distribution of variables (histograms, cumulative distribution functions, stem and leaf plots).
  • Explore how to describe distributions (kurtosis, etc.)
  • learn how to obtain basic descriptive statistics, using Stata
