Katie Martin, TIA Centre Coordinator, completes Springboard Women’s Development Programme
Katie, recently completed the Springboard Women’s Development Programme — an internationally recognised initiative aimed at empowering women by enhancing their confidence, assertiveness, and personal effectiveness. The programme was delivered by the team at the University of Warwick.
Structured around a series of dynamic workshops, the Springboard Programme focuses on self-assessment, skills evaluation, goal setting, and assertiveness training. It provides a supportive environment for participants to explore personal and professional development opportunities.
Reflecting on her experience, Katie shared:
“I found the Springboard Programme to be both informative and inspiring. I especially appreciated the guest speakers—hearing about their journeys and how they have progressed their careers within the University of Warwick was incredibly relatable. Their insights into balancing work and life offered new approaches that I’m excited to apply to my own development.”
