Support for developing Interdisciplinary Research Projects on Sustainability: Workshop 10th September 2024

WESIC and the Sustainability Spotlight have set up a learning circle which will meet termly to support our research community to develop interdisciplinary research projects. This is open to staff involved in research at all career stages.

The first informal workshop will take place in room JX2.03 in the Junction at 1 pm on 10th September

Ludovica Gazze from the Department of Economics will provide an informal presentation on the journey from inception to submission of the project ‘Protocol development and feasibility study for the Elevated Childhood Lead Interagency Prevalence Study’ which was funded in round 1 of the UKRI cross research council responsive mode pilot bringing together researchers from Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Health to develop a child lead (Pb) screening study protocol which is adaptable for national and international deployment.

Following the talk there will lunch, networking, discussion of potential project ideas and the opportunity to build project teams.
