Optimal Control and Scientific Computing
We connect researchers in optimal control, numerical analysis and scientific computing with organisations seeking better models, simulations, decisions and computational tools.
About the network
This network grew out of the KE Hub Working Group on Optimal Control and Scientific Computing. Its purpose is to make it easier for business, industry and government to reach a broad community of computational and applied mathematicians, and for researchers to understand important external problems at an early stage.
For external organisations
Present a modelling, simulation, optimisation or decision-making challenge, identify relevant expertise, and explore research, consultancy, student projects, or funding opportunities.
For researchers
Meet organisations with substantive technical questions, build cross-institutional teams, and develop mathematical ideas into computational methods and practical collaborations.
Expertise and research interests
Members cover a wide range of mathematical and computational methods. The network is particularly suited to problems that require a combination of modelling, analysis, algorithms and implementation.
