Apply for RSE time

As of 06 July 2026, a new Research Software Engineer (RSE) in Digital Innovation has joined the CAMaCS team on a one-year contract. The RSE will be a shared resource across the departments of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, providing specialist software engineering support for research projects. Colleagues from these departments are now invited to submit applications for the RSE's time.

If you have a current or upcoming project that would benefit from RSE support, you are invited to submit a request via the application form below by 27 July 2026. Members of the CAMaCS management team will evaluate the applications and notify you of the outcome. Depending on the length of the awarded projects, there may be a call for further rounds, which will be announced by email.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss whether your project is suitable, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the CAMaCS Programme Manager, Hajnal Farkas.
