Updates 07/12/2020

Teams recordings will be automatically stored in Stream again once the Microsoft license update is rolled out (by 18th Dec.). This process will remain until near the end of the academic year. In May/June 2021 we expect that recordings will be saved in Sharepoint and OneDrive.

Teams Breakout rooms should be fully functional by "mid-December" so should be ready to use in Term 2. If you want to know more then see here.

An Office 365 Upgrade is now available for anyone with a managed desktop to install at a time of their choosing This means the updated version of PowerPoint with picture in picture and export to Stream should be available to all. This can be useful when recording PowerPoints to export as videos. See here: https://warwick.ac.uk/services/sim/newsandevents/working-securely-upgrade-to-office-365

Older Updates

Safari Browser issues: Staff and students are advised that some content including video may not display properly when using the Safari browser. Please use an alternative browser such as Chrome, Edge or Firefox.

Information about transcripts and captions have just been made available on this page here.
A new updated resource on copyright has been produced and made available by the library this includes information on copyright for teaching.
A recent change in the behaviour of Microsoft Teams means that Teams meeting recordings are no longer automatically transferred to Microsoft Stream. Any recordings are now made available to download for 21 days.These can be downloaded and uploaded to Stream, or other systems. If you can't find your recordings please view Teams > Chat. .
