MSc Project

"Conductivity and Dispersion Properties of Poly(2-Ethy-2-Oxazolines)"

Synthesizing polyoxazolines and investigating the physical properties thereof as a dispersed medium for the purposes as a potential chemical additive for qualitative, efficiency improvements in products such as paints. Additionally the polymers are investigated for their interactions with other additives like graphene and carbon black for potential conducting and electronic applications. The project is supervised by Dr. Remzi Becer and supported by Infinium. I am based in the department of chemistry labs at the University of Warwick.

The aim is to determine the effectiveness of this class of polyoxazolines in terms of the of the improvement in the performance of a particular product, as well as determining the effectiveness in solution, and possibly as a film, the potential conducting qualities and the effects of the polymer as it is part of an interspersed system.
