Crystallography Day (A-level visitors to Warwick; schools please contact Seb for further information)

28 Year 12-students visit Warwick for our first 'Crystallisation Day' in Jan 2023. The students grew some beautiful crystals in our teaching labs, solved the structure using X-ray diffraction and viewed the resulting structure using virtual reality goggles! We had lots of fun and hope the students did too!

Developing a crystal growing challenge for A-level students. Check out the different crystal shapes we managed to grow in only 20 minutes!

Salty Solutions 2026

It was a pleasure to visit Stratford Girls Grammar School to discuss experiment plans for their 'Salty Solutions' project, investigating how inorganic salts effect growth in plants.
