The seminar will discuss four critical pathways in the assembly of the bacterial cell envelope: assembly of the twin-arginine translocase; maturation and localisation of bacterial Lipoproteins; transport of lipopolysaccharide to the Outer membrane and attachment of surface-layers to lipopolysaccaride.
