The Computational Toolkit: Student Lead Seminar Series - Call for Participants
The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in the Modelling of Heterogeneous Systems (HetSys) is delighted to support an excellent initiative from Idil Ismail (3rd year PhD student) and some of her colleagues.
The group are organising a HetSys student-led seminar series throughout terms 2 and 3 of this academic year. This will involve students giving short talks on key computational skills used in everyday research to create a so-called "computational toolkit" of resources and tutorials, aimed at helping those just beginning in the field, and offering a more practical introduction to computational science as a whole.
Exploiting Machine Learning for Multiscale Materials Modelling workshop
HetSys is helping to organise the forthcoming Exploiting Machine Learning for Multiscale Materials Modelling (EMLM3) workshop, which is a UK-India partnership development workshop supported by UKIERI and DST. See the workshop webpage for further details and to register.
Modelling of Heterogeneous Systems Study Group with Industry
Companies are invited to join the three day Study Group to discuss any challenges from industry, with a particular focus on modelling of Heterogeneous Systems.
