Conference Fee Payments

The HetSys CDT is funded by two separate EPSRC grants. HetSys I funding sits under Physics and HetSys II funding sits under Engineering.

Due to this, the process for booking travel and conferences is different dependant on your cohort. Please click on the correct section below:

Paying a conference fee

HetSys I - cohorts 1-5

You can book and pay for a conference fee and claim it via Expenses, or we can do this for you on the Departmental credit card.

If you'd like to do this please:

Raise an Non-Opera Vendor order in Opera making sure to add into the comments that this is to use the HetSys credit card via Sarah Jarratt.

Book in plenty of time as the process requires input from departmental approvers, and there are spending limits on departmental credit cards. If you are aware that a large number of HetSys students will be attending the same conference, please let us know at hetsys@warwick.ac.uk.

Note that Expense claims for conference fees won't be signed off without receipt of the conference attendance notification form.
