Stopping anti-coagulation for isolated or incidental sub-segmental pulmonary embolism

Improvements in imaging mean that doctors are identifying even very minor blood clots in patients' lungs, whereas in previous years the clots would not have been seen. This study examines whether such small clots can safely be left, rather than actively and perhaps unnecessarily treated.
