We are undertaking an exploratory study establishing the current pathway for management of neonatal jaundice in the community after birth. This is across the Birmingham and Solihull Local Maternity System, with a view to developing service improvements that may include point of care testing in the community. We are also scoping current approaches to diagnosing neonatal jaundice in the community across the country. This is a project chosen by the clinician teams as a priority.
