mConsulting

Remote or Mobile (m)Consulting involves clinical communication between someone with a health need and a healthcare worker using some form of digital communication such as a mobile phone or tablet. mConsulting has potential to improve access to quality healthcare, particularly for communities with minimal access to health services in low- and middle-income counties. Our collaborating partners are working together to explore the viability of mConsulting in urban slums and remote rural areas and to develop training to support its delivery during and beyond COVID-19. Partners have developed policy briefs to share with local task forces and authorities, which could influence local policy in the management of COVID-19.
