Maartje Kletter
Educational background and interests:
In 2016 Maartje finished an MSc of research in Biomedical Sciences at the Radboud University, Netherlands majoring in Health Technology Assessment, global health and consultancy in healthcare. After Maartje graduated she began working at the University of Warwick, UK focusing on impact studies. In June 2017 she started an exploratory evaluation of the ‘Learning from Excellence’ programme and ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ training in the NHS.
PhD project focus:

During the MSc Maartje learnt about Health Technology Assessment, but also about global health and consultancy in healthcare. After she graduated she started working at the University of Warwick, UK. Initially her focus was on impact studies, but in June 2017 she started an exploratory evaluation of the ‘Learning from Excellence’ programme and ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ training in the NHS. For her PhD project Maartje is interestedin implementing a co-designed intervention, based on the Learning from Excellence programme, for community health workers and their supervisors. This intervention will subsequently be evaluated with the help of realist evaluation methodology, to not only learn more about the outcomes of the intervention, but to also understand mechanisms that lead to the outcomes and contextual factors that facilitate or impede mechanisms or outcomes.
