Public engagement

Why do we do Public Engagement?

As a leading research community, building world class research centres, we are focused on understanding the origin and spread of human disease. As part of our mission we are committed to building an exciting public engagement interface, enabling the flow of information and knowledge gained from our research to the wider public and also learning from the expertise held within the local community.

Support for doing more public engagement

Support and information can be found on the central university public engagement webpage.

Additionally the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) has a wealth of information.

Wellcome also offer information and support which may be of use.
