Sarah-Jane Richards


I have an MChem degree in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield. My Fourth year project was entitled 'Smart Polymers for Improved Oil and Gas Production'. I used fluorescence anisotropy techniques to investigate the dynamics of thermoresponsive polymers for their use in clatherate hydrate inhibition.


I joined MOAC in 2010 to carry out an MSc in Mathematical Biology and Biophysical Chemistry.


During my MSc I completed 3 mini-projects. For more details about the projects use the links below:

My PhD is entitled Glycosylated nanomaterials: Neutralisation and detection of bacteria and toxins.
