Richard Beanland - DirectorDr Beanland is a Reader in the Department of Physics at Warwick. His research interests include all forms of microscopy, electron diffraction, crystallography and semiconductor devices. Steve York - ManagerSteve manages the multi-user EM RTP facility. Steve has a wide knowledge of all the microscopy techniques the facility houses, in addition to sample preparation for imaging. Steve can help users design experiments, or alternatively carry out imaging on behalf of the user. Office: MAS1.06 |
Yisong Han - Scientific OfficerYisong uses all the microscopes in the facility, but his main responsibility is the aberration-corrected ARM200F. His expertise in atomic resolution imaging and spectroscopy opens up the use of this powerful instrument to all users. Office: MAS1.06 |

Steve Hindmarsh - TechnicianSteve provides technical support to the EM facility with particular specialisms in FIB, SEM and sample preparation. His time is split between training/advising users on the facilities instruments, carrying out microscopy work on behalf of others, designing/manufacturing new components and general maintenance duties. Where are we?
The EM RTP is housed in the purpose built £ 24M Materials and Analytical Sciences (MAS) building that can be seen below. This is between the Departments of Physics and Chemistry on the main University of Warwick campus.
