Richard Beanland - Director Dr Beanland is a Reader in the Department of Physics at Warwick. His research interests include all forms of microscopy, electron diffraction, crystallography and semiconductor devices. Steve York - Manager Steve manages the multi-user EM RTP facility. Steve has a wide knowledge of all the microscopy techniques the facility houses, in addition to sample preparation for imaging. Yisong Han - Scientific Officer Yisong uses all the microscopes in the facility, but his main responsibility is the aberration-corrected ARM200F. His expertise in atomic resolution imaging and spectroscopy opens up the use of this powerful instrument to all users. Steve Hindmarsh - Technician Steve provides technical support to the EM facility with particular specialisms in FIB, SEM and sample preparation. His time is split between training/advising users on the facilities instruments, carrying out microscopy work on behalf of others, designing/manufacturing new components and general maintenance duties. Where are we?

The EM RTP is housed in the purpose built £ 24M Materials and Analytical Sciences (MAS) building that can be seen below. This is between the Departments of Physics and Chemistry on the main University of Warwick campus.
